Bikram Basics
Workshop – free

Every Tuesday at 5:30pm and Saturday at 9am, we offer a FREE beginner workshop for new students in Studio B. Bikram Basics is a 45 minute introduction to Bikram Yoga, lead by one of our certified Bikram teachers. We will share a brief history of Bikram Yoga, demonstrate fundamentals like proper breathing and how to lock your knee. Plus, advice on hydration, nutrition and getting the most from your practice. Perfect for newbies or regular yogis seeking more knowledge. No heat, no mat required. Just come with questions.

Meditation
Class – $10

“Yoga is the stilling of the vibrations of the mind”. These are the words that begin the great Indian sage Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras. A regular practice of meditation helps us get rooted in the stillness that’s become available through our practice in the hot room. It brings about a deepening of the awareness of our Being, beyond the turmoils of the psychological mind.

Every Tuesday at 6:45pm and Saturday at 12pm, our Bikram teacher Frank Alaghband will lead a 60 minute mediation class in Studio B. This is available for all yogis interested in advancing their yoga practice beyond the physical aspects. No experience is needed, just openness and a commitment to growth. Please bring a cushion so you can sit comfortably on the floor.
